Vancouver, B.C. - Starcore International Mines Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has engaged Jordan Capital Markets Inc. ("Jordan Capital") as its financial advisor. Jordan Capital will advise Starcore with respect to corporate and strategic alternatives and will include the provision by Jordan of financial analysis and advice to the Company regarding any potential merger, acquisition, substantial asset purchase or sale, or other such transactions contemplated by the Company, or in responding to any offers for such transactions with the Company that may be made by one or more parties.

Should a transaction of a nature as described in the foregoing be completed, the agreement with Jordan Capital contemplates the payment of success-based fees by Starcore.
